Upon arriving at Centrum during an unexpected "heat wave," the initial room was a bit warm, but the front desk swiftly found us a cooler alternative, showcasing their excellent service. Positioned on the historic Adalstraeti, the hotel's prime location allowed easy access to Reykjavík's gems.Our gastronomic journey began at Uppsalir, the Icelandic bistro famed for its local delicacies. The fine buffet breakfast was a bustling affair, offering a taste of authentic Icelandic flavors amidst the morning buzz. The evening menu delighted with a fusion of Old and New World wines, perfectly complementing the exquisite dishes.One particularly special memory was simply sipping a cocktail at the chic Uppsalir Bar and Cafe, soaking in the trendy ambiance. With remarkable eateries like Fiskmarkathurinn and Grillmarkadurinn a stone's throw away, dining adventures were endless.Centrum's culinary innovation, combined with its unbeatable location and top-notch service, makes it a must-visit for all gourmet enthusiasts exploring Reykjavík.
